Happy Holidays?

It's almost Christmas! But you'd barely know it if you saw our apartment.  My grown-up didn't decorate this year for a couple reasons.  First, because she and her husband are looking for a condo and they already started packing all their junk (they've got a LOT of stuff!). Second, because my grown-up is still kinda sad about the box of her special sentimental ornaments that got stolen.  :(  BUT she and I made a realization today!  The thing we were most sad about was that all her Nana Zazuetta's ornaments were in that box, and decorating the tree with them made Christmas fun for her.  Today, however, she remembered she needed a platter to put some desserts on for the Zazuetta family party, and she also remembered she has two of her Nana's Christmas platters in her linen closet.  So she got out a really pretty one to use, and it made us both very happy!  We get to use Nana's special Christmas kitchen stuff like platters and towels and potholders, so make food and treats for people, just like Nana used to love doing!  That would make Nana so happy!
This is the platter she is using for the party goodies, along with her favorite potholders from Nana's kitchen.

Wednesday Fun Day!

My grown up and I are hanging out at her office this morning, The OC Wellness Connection.  She brought her iPod and we are listening to her cool Christmas music (Christmas songs done to non-traditional tunes), and we are wearing her favorite Santa hat that says "I Believe In Santa Claus" because I DO!  :)  She used to have another really cool hat that I LOVED wearing at Christmastime, it was red and green plaid, but she doesn't have it anymore.  That's ok, this Santa hat is cooler!

I am very excited also because she started reading a new book!  I love reading!  This one is a personal development book called "The Five Lessons A Millionaire Taught Me" so I'm not sure how much I will enjoy it, but I think I have convinced her to start reading another "for fun" book later when we get home, YAY!  Now to just pick which one!  hahaha

Here's a picture of my grown up today at the Wellness Connection, she's silly sometimes.

Holiday time!

Ok, so I'm not such a huge fan of Christmastime, but as my grown up got older she grew to enjoy the holidays more and more.  Now she really enjoys the pretty lights at Disneyland and spending time with her sister and parents around Christmas.  She's looking forward to enjoying the holidays with her baby girl next year!  So I'm starting to enjoy the magic of the holidays a little more now too.  So much pretty stuff!

Here's a picture of Santa and Mrs. Claus!  They were at the Downtown Orange Tree Lighting Ceremony tonight!

New Day, Pretty Face!

Last night my grown up got a gift card to my favorite store! Sephora!  I love Sephora, it's so pretty and shiny and all the pretty make up makes me so happy!  But my grown up hardly ever buys make up there because it's really expensive.  My favorite favorites at Sephora are the Urban Decay eyeshadows! They are SO cool!  And my grown up mixes and matches and makes really nice combinations of colors on her eyelids.  She learned how to do that from reading fashion magazines.  I wish she read those more often now, but she's so busy all the time.
I'm trying to convince my grown up to go to the Sephora sale on Friday with her sister.  She gave her sister the giftcard and told her what items she wanted from the sale, but I really want to go!  It's super early though, 4am, and she's been very tired lately because she's pregnant.  I'm still hoping to convince her to empty my piggy bank and get up and go with her sister.  I think it'd be really fun!  We've never gone shopping that early on Black Friday!
Ok, we gotta go now, but I wanted to show you a picture of my favorite things from my grown up's make up collection.  The pink lip gloss was a gift, but the other items are from Sephora.
Bye!

Cute, but psycho ;)

Hi! My name is Punky!  I'm 11 years old, and my grown up's name is Laura.  Today my grown up is 20 years older than me...hehehe. She's OLD!  But she's fun too, she lets me express my personality through her, so we actually get along pretty good.
I've been wanting to write for a long time, so Laura finally helped me set up this blog!  I'm going to write about my favorite things and all kinds of fun stuff!
Well, I'm gonna keep this short, we're celebrating Laura's birthday today, so it's off the computer and on to something fun!
Oh, take a look at the silly socks I picked out for my grown up to wear today!  They are my favorite socks.
